Thanks Jerry! This was actually sunset. Bryce opens to the east so people generally prefer sunrise there since it puts light on the hoodoos. I wanted to find something at sunset so I knew I needed to include the sun itself as an important part of the image since the light in the canyon wouldn't be as good.
