Description
A total lunar eclipse (seen here at about 3/4's) during a supermoon this past September turned the moon deep red over the skies of Aspen, Colorado. It was the perfect opportunity to bring out my super telephoto lens, which I had primarily bought for shooting wildlife.
It was a fun experience seeing such a rare and beautiful moment that won't come around again for another ~20 years, and was perhaps just as fun to capture it with my camera so I can look back on it for the next 20 years until it happens again.
